What people actually said
Archived data · Jul 27, 2026 – Oct 16, 2026"We don't want them to use our research to produce consumer memory." "Okay, fine, we will ban their consumer memory." "Thank you." "Now can you please produce some consumer memory?" "No."
Considering the memory guys are illegally colluding, I say it's all fair.
If you don't have the console or PC you want yet, its only going to get more and more expensive.
Starting to look like every other Chinese Android phone.
It's great they repaired it, but still, having to jump through all those hoop, all the time and energy spent on this should never have happened had samsung just honored their warranty in the first place. Just another reason why I will never buy another samsung product again.
We are so fucked… imagine, not even customer support using their brains to write shit
Well this is my take as someone who repairs phone myself. Curved screen phones are a nightmare to work with. Screen replacements are insanely expensive. Sometimes it's just the digitizer that's having an issue. But to separate the display from the digitizer? Slight pressure and boom. Dead pixel/line/crack. Most of the aftermarket parts don't come with 120hz, or thick bezel/punch out hole.. If they do, it's almost the price of getting a 2nd hand units on the market. I have an S8 plus and S20 plus pending for repair, just because the screen itself costs as much as getting a 2nd hand pristine unit on fb marketplace. Idk when will i ever get em fixed.
